The Speaker of the Ogun State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo, was arrested this morning by the anti-graft agency, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, over allegations of financial crime.
As at the time of filing this report, he is said to be undergoing interrogation by officials of the EFCC.

A source at the EFCC said Oluomo had shunned invitations by the EFCC to appear before it to clear allegations of financial crimes against his person.
He was arrested at the Murtala Mohammed Airport, Ikeja, Lagos, by operatives of the EFCC who had been monitoring his movement.
