APC Chief Describes PDP As Party Without Direction

A Chieftain of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Zamfara State, Mallam Babangida Usman has described the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, as a party without direction and focus.

Babangida said the party is one of the oldest political parties in Nigeria but has lost direction and focus. “The actions of the party leadership do not portray any justice, saying that Dauda Lawal Dare was a serious member of the APC but felt that the PDP in the state had no capable candidate for the governorship, so he defected to the party for selfish interests.

Recall that since Dare became the flag bearer of the party in the State, three contestants to the governorship position have dragged him, the State leadership of the party and the INEC to court, rejecting the alleged selection.

Usman advised the leadership of the party to put its house in order before boasting that it is the number one opposition party, saying that the crisis of the party has drawn many of its supporters to APC.
