Breaking News: The Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, has extended its ongoing strike. The decision to extend the strike was taken at the conclusion of its meeting by the National Executive Council at the University of Abuja on Monday.
Majority of ASUU branches across the country are in favour of continuation of the strike. Over 90% voted for an indefinite strike.
ASUU had commenced this strike on Monday, February 14, 2022, at the University of Lagos.
